The branch, while under the operation of Grove City Farmers Exchange, was acquired by Champaign Landmark from Countrymark in 2001. The facility was originally built in the 1880s. At one point in time farm equipment was sold at this location.

Currently the Derby Branch offers a 500,000 bushel Grain Storage, Liquid and Dry Fertilizer, Custom Application, a full line of seed (including grass,forage, wheat, soybeans and corn), and Crop Protection Chemicals.

Agronomy

A 54’ x 100’ warehouse stores seed and crop protection chemicals as well as bag fertilizer. The facility also has an 1100 plus ton, dry storage building, 30,000 gallon Anhydrous Ammonia storage tank and 500 ton liquid fertilizer dike.

Our five non-clerical employees have CDLs.

Grain

The grain facilities are located on the Indiana and Ohio Railway and offers 500,000 bushel grain storage with capabilities of loading 15 car unit trains. It also has a thousand bushel per hour grain dryer. All four full time employees have Grain Grading Licenses and one has a Fumigation License. Derby receives corn, soybeans and wheat.
