The recent presentation represented $600.00 from Heritage and Land O’Lakes, along with additional customer donations of around $400 in food items and $937 in cash and checks for a grand total of $1,537. This year, the 20 Heritage Cooperative branches participating in the Drive provided $12,000 from Heritage and Land O’Lakes Foundation to local food pantries and charitable organizations. This amount does not include the food items and cash donations each branch received from customers which varied by branch. Heritage Cooperative, Inc. is a locally owned farmer cooperative with 30 branches in 20 central Ohio counties. Heritage products and services include grain merchandising, agronomy, feed and farm supplies and energy products including propane and liquid fuels for farmers, residential, commercial and industrial customers. Heritage Cooperative has a history of over 90 years as a cooperative owned by local farmers serving all customers in their service area. |
